Project documents, information materials and images on the webarchivum.oszk.hu website are freely usable by reference to the source. For saved sites/webpages in the public archive, permission must be sought from the original creators, content owners or service providers for any reuse or take over. The National Széchényi Library concludes a contract with the copyright holders for the public provision of archived content, which sets out in detail the rights of the parties and the obligations of the national library. The material of the closed archive will be made available for research purposes only on the library’s internal network after the government decree regulating the operation of the web archive (which is expected to enter into force in 2021), while respecting copyright and privacy.
