By this template you can search in our public collection that represents the possibilities and limitations of web archiving. Into the “Quick search” field you can type words that are appearing in the important descriptive data fields (eg. name of the website, genre, owner type, topic, creator). Into the “URL search” field you can enter a characteristic part of a URL without the prefixes “http://”, “https://” or “www”. The two search form are independent from each other, i.e. only the search for which you clicked the “Submit” button will be performed. The advanced search template is currently under construction. Furthermore we have not recorded yet detailed metadata for each website in the public collection. Websites without metadata can be found in the spreadsheet list only. The first icon near the hits that are being displayed under the search template is linked to the archived version, the second icon is to the metadata record and the third one is to the original live website.
